Attempted pictures

we thought this would be the perfect location to get some pictures of the kids.Acres and Acres of these wild flowers.However it was not in there agenda that day.I needed Aly.

I do like this one of Steve and the kids.Except for Eliza's fake smile.oh well we will try again some other time.Like when Aly comes for a visit... :))) can you tell my smile is strained.

liza's bedroom

How can you not love pink.I just finished the bubble polk-a-dots that go around the top of the wall like a border. They turned out cuter than i could have imagined.I decided I am going to move into eliza's room.She has a big enough closet for me I think?? the only thing I have left is to sew up some pillows and finish the curtains. If you look closely at the 2 pictures on the wall , look at the ribbon(polk-a-dot,sheer) at the top of them that is what her curtains are made out of. I'll send more pics when I finish. this is the guest bedroom for anyone who wants to come and visit us.boys get over it!!!

GRAND Canyon

over labor day weekend my parents and matt came for a visit.i'm hoping my dad will send some of the pictures so i can show you all the fun we had.we went to sedona on the way we stopped at slide rock a state park.it's amazing its slick rock with shallow water running through it.it is a natural water park, with all sorts of water slides every where.we did the grand canyon.then we went to walnut canyon, a national park full of old indian ruins.we also went to downtown flagstaff which is my first time there. we liked it better than sedona.full of cute shops everywhere.wish the kids and pocket watchers(husbands) weren't there.

Meteor Crater

we took the kids out there about a week ago.while there, they had to cancel some of the hikes due to a thunder storm rolling in.we,(with many people) went up to one of the look out points to watch the lighting off in the distance.i started talking to this lady who was there from Georgia(I told her i missed her accent).anyways while talking to her i noticed her hair was standing straight up. so i turned to dallin because he has that long shaggy hair and sure enough his hair was straight up.i pointed it out to Steve, who immediately suggested we get off the metal platform and head inside.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Dallin says; my favorite subject is PE. school is really long now and we have to do a lot of work, but i am good at it. riding the bus is fun but a little scary.one time i couldn't find Eliza, i was looking for her all over the school and then the bus was leaving so i had to get on it. i looked all over the bus for her and couldn't find her.i started to cry because i thought she was dead.then i started to say a prayer to heavenly father to help me find her. the bus drivers phone started to ring even before my prayer was over(i know this because i sit in the front seat) when he got off the phone he said that eliza was at the school office. she thought it was parent pick up day. when i got off the bus i told my mom that it was all my fault that my little sister was lost and that i was so sorry.she gave me a big hug and said it wasn't and that i am such a great big bother.I felt better when eliza finally got home.i gave her a big hug.

Eliza says; i am all grown up.i go to school all day just like dallin.dallin and i really worry about our mom while we are at school she gets so lonely and misses us terribly. she sometimes comes to school so she can have lunch date with us.that's my favorite part, also recess.i like to do the art stuff but there is a boy at my table who is so gross, he eats paper for bubble gum and tries to make us eat is.also he doesn't listen to the teacher and is always on red. i never i am, i am always on green.

i think if we could have done this everyday in the summer my kids would have been ok with it.

we finally have a cousin

we are so happy that she is here. we wish we were closer so we could watch her grow up. she is such a beautiful girl. kiss her for us, and tell her we love her!
