Aly, I stole your pictures. Sorry!

Aly I really do feel a little bad. I just really love them and want to put them on. There is a few more pics on her new website www.alyssacookphotography.com (If you want I will take them down) I know that I am his Mother and a little bias but seriously look at that face. I can't get enough of him and truly love every minute with him. It does help that he is a great baby. So calm and only wakes up once at 3 or 4 to eat. He also love to cuddle up with me and it's my favorite.

Spencer's Costume

Thanks to Aunt Sarah Spencer did get to dress up for Halloween. I just forgot to get pictures of him that night. Halloween is busy and he was sleeping. Dallin got in his Skeleton PJ's for the pictures so they could be twins. And yes, they both glow in the dark. We had to check this out with all of us in the bathroom. The only room with no windows.

Rubix Cube Obession

Steve is hanging his head in embarrassment, not because he accomplished what most of us will never attempt, nor do we want to. That's right he beat the rubix cube. It took him about 3 nights. He took notes, and even watched a video on how to beat it. (it's all about the alga rhythms he says)I am not really that impressed with my "Geek," but I do think it's cute in a geeky kind of way. And I love him for it. My kids however think their Dad is the smartest most amazing Dad in the world.

New Calling

Finally I have some news that has to do with me and not the kids. I was called to serve in the Primary. I am the 2nd Counselor, and over the cub scouting program. It's going to be really busy but very fun. The presidency is full of fun, great women. I just can't wait till we get things all figured out and have a smooth system down. Is that possible when you work with kids?

Thanks Aly you are so talented and I love them. She also took our family pictures and has a super talented sister Brittany (http://www.brittanyandersenphotography.com/) who also took pictures for us. I will put some of those up soon, I hope.

Trick or Treat

For Halloween this year the kids where Rock Stars. Eliza was Madonna, or an 80's punk rock star as she likes to say. Dallin who is obsessed with the King of Pop, was Michael Jackson. They have been watching some of there old videos for a long time now. Eliza likes to sing along with Madonna songs, and Dallin loves to do MJ dance moves. He even told the people he trick or treated he would do a MJ dance move for an extra piece of candy.

From left to right; Leia as Darth Vader, Dallin as MJ, Eliza as Madonna, Lucy as Marley.

Dallin's Baptism and Spencer's Blessing

Dallin is one lucky boy to have so many friends and family members at his baptism. It was a great experience for him and the family. We are so thankful to those of you who came to support Dallin. In the picture above is Dallin with his Dad, Mom, Eliza and Spencer. A picture with Grandma and Grandpa Codner. A picture with his cousin Sydney. And a picture with his Uncles Ryan, Thomas, Erik and Matt. We really missed Uncle Jerame. But they made up for it and had a really good excuse. Uncle Jer is a real dentist now!
Above in these pictures are G'ma and G'pa Frederickson, G'ma and G'pa Auxier, Aunt Stacy, cousin Alexis, G'ma Warren, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Hallsie. Closest family friends Rachel Williams with Katelyn below I put in pictures of Brittany with her family and Aly with hers, because when I was putting this together I realised I didn't get a picture of them there which made me kind of bummed. The last picture is of Dallin with his best buddies Ford, little brother Huddson(who is friends with Eliza) and Taige. Eliza is there with Emmy, her bestest friend . This group of kids, along with Katelyn, sang "Baptism" at the program. They did a great job. In the pictures below is Aunt Melany who played the piano at the baptism. G'ma Goesch and Kendall. Also Sue Locke who has been in the family for 15 years now. We love her. And a big thanks goes to Debbie for making the cake for Dallin and Spencer. It turned out better than I imagined. Everyone participated in the program and I'm sure someday Dallin will figure out how lucky and blessed he is to have so many people who love him and care about him. It meant a lot to me to have all of my brothers and sisters there, Steve's brother and sister there, all the grandparents there and all our close friends. It was a great day for our family.

While we where home we also crammed in Matthew "the baby of the Fred's" Court of Honor. We where all so proud of him. Dallin and Taige participated in the flag ceremony.

Dallin with his Uncles Tom, Matt, Erik and G'pa Fred.
Here is Matt with all the important women in his life. Good luck to the girl who tries to marry him. Look who she has to get approval from!
We also managed to fit in the BYU vs. TCU football game. It was homecoming week and the game was picked for ESPN game day. As Taige puts it,"It was a fun game but BYU got creamed." After the BYU game we played a real football game in the backyard. We split up Dallin and Taige, then the rest of us divided up evenly. It was one fun football game. Dallin and Taige were the stars they scored all the touchdowns. No one could tackle them. The uncles stood together with there arms stretched out to make field goals, and the younger boys always got to kick the extra points. Dallin and Taige where strutting there stuff after the backyard game. It was fun to watch them and there egos.
We also got to spend some time at my Aunt Stacy's and Uncle Brent's. My cousin Jack and his wife Rachel just had there first baby, a boy named Jack. He and Spencer are about 2 weeks apart. Below is a picture of my cousins (some of the mangum boys), my brothers and my two boys.
It was a fun trip. It's never long enough and someone always gets sick. Also it gets old always doing it by myself. But it was so fun to see everyone. By the time we got home all 3 kids got sick and even the dogs made themselves sick at the kennel. They just get anxious away from home. I have spent the past week doing nothing but up every night with someone who is sick and cleaning puke out of the carpet from the dogs. Finally we got smart enough to put them in the laundry room. Much easier to clean. However it's small, so every time there is an accident I have to bath them. Does anyone want to buy a black and white lab??? Or you can just have them.
