Winter Wonderland Ball

Eliza has been counting down the weeks, to this night. Eliza and I got her dress about 2 weeks ago and safely got it home and into her closet before Dad could see it. Every Tuesday Steve gets up early to take her to Jazz class. He has to get her up help her pick out her clothes and get off to school. Well since Dad is not allowed to go near her closet,  I have had to sub these past 2 weeks,  that way Dad would have NO chance of seeing her dress. It is so fun for me to get her all dressed up for this BIG night with her Dad. She told me yesterday she was starting to get nervous because we hadn't decided how we were going to do her hair. Then this morning when she woke up I was already down stairs so I could hear her let out a big sigh in bed and then say, "I'm so excited tonight is the ball." I know she won't ever forget these date nights with her dad, and I love watching them go on them. She remembered that the last time she came down the stairs she couldn't stop giggling she didn't want to do that this time, she shared all of this with me while we were painting nails, and doing hair. I love the look in her eyes in the picture above. It's right when she came around the corner and she is looking down at her Dad.

She was so hoping her Dad was going to wear a shirt, that matched her dress.  She told Steve that I had to pick out his clothes, but he could wear whatever he wanted, kind of.

Dad and Eliza off to the Ball. Steve said that the last ball they went to, they sat with all her friends and danced with them to. Tonight when the got there, her friends asked her to come sit at there table, she told them she just wanted to sit with her Dad. I was told they also danced the night away, I got to see the between the leg move when they got home. So glad you guys had a wonderful night.

Steve's 34th Birthday

Happy Birthday to Dad. Steve started off the day with getting to sleep in, till 7:30!!! Lucky guy! I got lunch for him at Wildflower Bread Company, then he came home to a decorate house and party waiting for him. The kids helped get everything together. They picked out the over sized Steeler's cookie. I guess that's the team Steve is routing for now? Dallin really wants his Dad to cheer for the same team he wants, Go STEELER'S. Mom Eliza and Spencer are cheering for PACKERS!!!
Spencer got a hold of the football rings and started throwing them all over the house.
Some how it turned into a Ninja party, started by Steve. Aren't streamers great for everything.Ok, this is to cute. We were in Target a couple of days before his birthday, I asked the kids what they wanted to get their Dad. Right away Eliza says, "You know that stuff he uses everyday, under his arms?" I wasn't really paying attention the first time she said it so I said, "No, what are you talking about?" Eliza, "You know that stuff he loves because it makes him smell goo, he puts it on under his arms."  Light bulb moment for me, "You mean deodorant?" "Yes that's it. He will love it."
 Ninjas
I hope all your birthday wishes come true, babe. We love you.

Cheer and Basketball

Right now, maybe one of the reason's I haven't blogged in a while, is because Eliza is in 5 after school activities; jazz dance, tap dance, cheerleading, girl scouts, and cupcake decorating. Dallin is in 3; hip hop, basketball, which I get to coach yeah, and boy scouts. I am still in primary, and still over scouts. I am helping in there classrooms more than the first half of the yea,r now that Spencer is on a good schedule. I am going to physical therapy and trying to keep my house clean, work out, still be social, and keep Steve happy. I know I'm missing stuff but blah. It was my goal this year to simplify and make time for my mind. Surprisingly enough I am finding time for that. I have also been really busy going through my whole house throwing things out and changed 4 rooms around so the would work more smoothly for our family to function.
Spencer is a handful at the basketball games all he wants to do is go and shoot the ball.  Eliza's cheer group is called, Spirit Ladies. She loves being a cheerleader and got to lead her first cheer last week.

Our team is called the Knight's, we are undefeated so far. 3 wins, 1 tie. Dallin had a great last game. We won 24-16. He scored 12 of the points, had 6 rebounds, and 10 steals. The kids was on it was fun to see.

Spirit Ladies cheering for the Knight's.

Last week Eliza made penguin cupcakes at her decorating class.
Our new bedroom furniture, I just need to find turquoise curtains, and I'm done.
I moved Dallin downstairs with Spencer. It is working out for the most part. We had to get Dallin ear plugs because Spencer makes so much noise in his sleep.
This is now Eliza's room, I moved the toy room upstairs. So now half of the room is Eliza's and the other half playroom and work out room. It's a big room.

Utah

I did the worst job taking pictures in Utah. We had a good time, we spent one day at BYU playing basketball, football and running hurdles. We also went to the Carl Bloch, The Master's Hand, Exhibit. It was really beautiful. We also went bowling there. I hope Aunt Rachel sends me those pictures. We skied, we saw friends and family. It was great to see everyone and it was great to head back home to Dad.
The sledding group, Uncle Matt, Me-Emily, Dallin, Ford, Huddson, Eliza and Emme, Grandma and Spencer came for a little.
This was so funny. My Mom didn't want to take down the Christmas tree this year, she wanted to store it fully decorated downstairs. My Dad was positive it could not be done. Well they did it. I just recorded because it was so funny.

Christmas

Look what Santa left for these cute Codner kids. Dallin got Bakugans, Bay Blades, Dsi games and a Basketball Hoop.Eliza got a Dsi, and lots of American Girl doll stuff. She got a bed, a trunk closet for all there clothes and about 20 new outfits, 6 from us and 14 from her Aunt Danyelle. Spencer got a Basketball hoop, a Lazy Boy chair and toys. Steve and I got a new TV Console and Wall unit, Bedroom furniture, and other little stuff. Santa is way to good.
Codner kids, Christmas morning. Love them.

2 days after Christmas we left Dad and went to Utah.

Ice Skating, Dec 24th

Eliza with her friends, Sarah, and Isabelle. Our friends from Saint George came into town we got to meet up with them and skate for a little. It was fun to see them, wish it could have been longer.
Dallin is finally starting to enjoy ice skating, yeah!!!! Now we all get to go and have fun, well not Spencer.

Sleding, Dec 20ish

The first real snow of the year so we got all snow clothed up and hit the sledding slopes. Still not enough snow to ski and board, so this will have to do.

Spencer LOVED sledding. He kept go over to the sled and would sit on it till I would come over and go down with him.
Dallin with his buddies, Taige and Mike.
