Winter Wonderland Ball

Eliza has been counting down the weeks, to this night. Eliza and I got her dress about 2 weeks ago and safely got it home and into her closet before Dad could see it. Every Tuesday Steve gets up early to take her to Jazz class. He has to get her up help her pick out her clothes and get off to school. Well since Dad is not allowed to go near her closet,  I have had to sub these past 2 weeks,  that way Dad would have NO chance of seeing her dress. It is so fun for me to get her all dressed up for this BIG night with her Dad. She told me yesterday she was starting to get nervous because we hadn't decided how we were going to do her hair. Then this morning when she woke up I was already down stairs so I could hear her let out a big sigh in bed and then say, "I'm so excited tonight is the ball." I know she won't ever forget these date nights with her dad, and I love watching them go on them. She remembered that the last time she came down the stairs she couldn't stop giggling she didn't want to do that this time, she shared all of this with me while we were painting nails, and doing hair. I love the look in her eyes in the picture above. It's right when she came around the corner and she is looking down at her Dad.

She was so hoping her Dad was going to wear a shirt, that matched her dress.  She told Steve that I had to pick out his clothes, but he could wear whatever he wanted, kind of.

Dad and Eliza off to the Ball. Steve said that the last ball they went to, they sat with all her friends and danced with them to. Tonight when the got there, her friends asked her to come sit at there table, she told them she just wanted to sit with her Dad. I was told they also danced the night away, I got to see the between the leg move when they got home. So glad you guys had a wonderful night.
