Happy 4th

So a couple of days before the 4th we went to Sam's bought 20.oo$ worth of fireworks(or so we thought and came home to plan or 4th celebration. Later that afternoon Steve and Dallin opened the package of fireworks only to find all of them were poppers. Apparently all fireworks even sparklers are illegal in Flagstaff, and there city fireworks are fire safe fireworks so they hardly leave the ground. Thank goodness we had enough poppers to make the kids happy. While watching the Washington DC fireworks on TV we went up and shot the poppers off the loft. I got to throw the big huge one which Steve and I both thought was going to be similar to the other ones with streamers in them. But OH NO when I through it all of these little pieces of paper went fluttering all over our front room. The kids thought it was great and Steve and I just laughed in shock. Then we had a Roman Candle left over from UT and some dynamite that is water proof so we all snuck outside around the lake and lit it off. All along watching explosions under the water. Dallin was beyond getty with excitement of breaking the law he could hardly contain himself. On the run back home after we lit off the firework a couple was walking up on us (We could not see who they where it was to dark) all of a sudden Dallin throws his hands up in the air like it's the cops. As pathetic as the city celebration was we sure did have a good time.

I had to wait till these eventually fell down.
