MUD PIT

The sequences of these pictures makes me laugh. Leah and Dallin can't sit peacefully next to each other, ever! I sat Leah down for the picture and Dallin pokes her with the spears he found on the walk.So of course Leah bites his spears. Eliza is just sittng there while they hash it out. Finally after what seem like forever we got a picture. Today we went to a new part of forest around our house.Across the lake is the Coconino Pine Forest www.fs.fed.us/r3/coconino/, (if you click on the picture in the middle we live in the San Fran peaks, Oak Canyon) but if you go down the street to the left there is a part that is owned by the state. It is full of mud pits. I let the kids play there for about 2 hours today. We chased a lizard and tried to pull of its tail. Looked for animal prints. We found racoon prints and coyote prints(and yes there is a lot of coyote around here). Then the kids made mud bombs which you see Eliza is holing one in the picture. I have a stack of them on the deck and am nervous about who of what they are going to be used on. Eliza is also holding her "glorious rock". There are real crystalls in it!!! We then spent about 30 building an agility course for Leah. Dallin and Eliza ran around it jumping over all the stacks of rocks and logs trying to get Leah to follow. Leah just ran around like mad going around all the obsticles. I wish I had my camera during the walk but oh well I won't forget it they were making me laugh. The mud on the faces came after Eliza sliped on the mud and made a bum print which Dallin thought was so funny. And they had to put mud on Leah too.

I was reading this with Arianna sitting on my lap and she asked, "When can we go to their house?" I'm still laughing at your coyote story!! I'm still trying to take an optomitrist out so you can move up here!
